Well it was about time that we took a trip! We haven't been on a "real" vacation since we got pregnant. Jason had some vacation days open up so we decided to book a trip. It started out as us looking for a weekend getaway at a Bed-n-Breakfast near home, then something maybe in Florida or Gulf Shores, and then turned into this! So...I think I won!!! :) (love you honey)
Once we decided to do another Sandals trip, what better place to go than where we went on our honeymoon almost 5 years ago! I think this trip counts as our anniversary present, but when November comes.........??? Hmmmm...
It was really difficult to leave Kadence but we knew she was in good hands and would be taken care of and loved! Thanks Grandmas!! Once we actually got to the resort and out on the beach we were better. And we were able to talk to her every night.
The trip was just as amazing as it was before. The staff and food was incredible! A VERY much needed vacation for us! We have decided to not wait so long next time. Couple time is imperative to a marriage! Date nights are good, but this was fantastic! Can't wait for the next trip...unless we get pregnant.....
Views from our room
The pier where you had to catch the boat to the private island and to snorkel. Also where we ate dinner one night.
View of the private island from the main island
I was standing on the pier and spotted this starfish at the bottom

Our relaxing day on the private island
The view of the Atlantis resort from the private island
Back on the main island. Having dinner on the pier
Me having seafood for the first time since I was a kid!! YUM! Guess I'm not allergic anymore! Had some of Jason's crab legs and lobster came with my steak.
At the pub where we met a couple from Fort Smith that used to live in Fayetteville!
One of the many lounge couches with fire pits along the beach.
Our room was on the 3rd floor, right in the middle, with the balcony. Can you find it?
The pizzaria that we ate everyday. Jason went to the local market to buy them a fan because they had a ceiling fan that barely worked. We didn't think it was a big deal, but the manager of the hotel got us reservations for dinner on the pier. The pier is for "butler service" rooms only or you have to pay. But we got to eat for free! A $200 meal for a $40 fan!
Our last night before dinner
