Santa Claus

My first picture with Santa! I did such a good job. I sat so still and quiet the whole time. Santa even tried to make me smile by squishing my cheeks and tickling me. It didn't work. I just finished eating, and was ready to be rocked to sleep. Santa told my mom that I wanted more milk for Christmas!!

We tried cereal!!!

Well, baby girl seems to be hungry ALL the time. So we decided to try a little cereal last night. As you can tell, more was on her face than in her mouth. She didn't really know what to think about that spoon! I ended up putting a little cereal on my finger, and she did better that way. Not sure how much she actually swallowed, but she didn't seem to mind the taste. However, she likes her bottle much, much more.

Our Christmas Tree

We finally put our tree up! Miss Kadence LOVES it! She stares at it ALL the time. We are considering just leaving it up. Because....what little girl wants, little girl gets! She's so spoiled her gums are rotten! (And, yes, she has the turtle outfit on again. Gotta get all the use out of that thing before she grows)

Sleeping Beauty

Our little sleeping beauty has slept through the night off and on over the last few weeks. The downfall to this story is that it was usually for Mamaw or Nana!!! Not so much for us!!

Well.....I'm afraid to say because it might jenks us....but, she has slept through the night the last 3 nights!!!!!!!!!!!! She has gone down about 10:30ish and slept until 7:30ish!!! I actually read some of my book in bed last night!!! I had to go back and reread some of it because it had been so long since I read I forgot some of what happened.

She's still not napping like she should during the day, but hey, I can handle that!

And more good news....she pooped last night AND the night before!!! Yeah!! Some of you may be grossed out, but I don't care! She only goes like every 3 days, so this is EXCITING! Motherhood....gotta love it!! :)

I HAD to post the "famous" hog outfit!! We've had to move on to a different outfit for games because this one it too small already. But Jason says she's going to wear it for good luck....even if she's 20!!!!!

We decided to go with a real tree this year, and not mess with putting our giganto fake one up. But the rain just WON'T stop!! We have some tiny trees on our mantle, and here's what little munchkin thought of them.........

Letter From Santa

Kadence received her first letter from Santa in the mail yesterday! (courtesy of Mamaw) She was pretty grouchy when we wanted to open it, so we waited until this morning when she was in good spirits. She was quite entertained with all the colors on the paper....or maybe it was just gas....because she smiled and cooed the whole time we had the letter in front of her.
