6 Month Check-Up

We went for her check-up and shots yesterday...not fun but I'm starting to handle it a little bit better. These pictures were obviously taken before the evil shots!! She hasn't really had any side effects until now..............bruises and bumps under the shot! Guess we better have a different nurse next time!

MTV Cribs

For those of you who know what that means...no explanation needed...but for those of you who don't, allow me to explain. It's a show on MTV that tours celebs homes. And if you don't know what MTV is....you are just way too old!!!!! HA!!!

Anyway, Kadence was just chillin' in her crib the other day. Here's a few snapshots. You can see the rest when her episode airs on MTV next month!

There Really Is a Tooth

I still can't get a good picture of her tooth, but I promise it's really there! Everytime I try to take a picture or even just look at the tooth she sticks her tongue out and covers it up. We'll have to wait for the tooth to grow some more, and then I'll share a picture with you all. So for now, here's yet another picture with her tongue sticking out!

She Can Read!

Ha! She is the smartest person in the world though!! I went to do some laundry or something and handed her to her Daddy. When I walked back in the room this is what I saw! My little 'punkins' reading together! I know...go ahead...you want to say "Awwwwwww!"

Razorback Baseball Game

It was a beautiful afternoon so we made our 1st appearance at Baum Stadium with Kadence. It turned cloudy right before we went so the sun wasn't too harsh on her. But being the OCD mother that I am, we still applied sunscreen! There was a continuous breeze so it wasn't too hot either. There wasn't much of a crowd either so that was awesome! We only stayed for about 3 innings because she was ready for a nap, but I think she had fun. She smiled and laughed pretty much the whole time. The ground was still wet from all the rain we've been getting so we couldn't lounge on the blanket. (another reason we left early)

A Missing Newborn...Have you seen her???

The last few days have made me really miss my little tiny newborn. Kadence is always learning something new and changing every single day! But the last few days she has accomplished some things that I have to say.....made me a little emotional!!!! She rolled over for the first time on Friday and then cut her 1st tooth Sunday morning!!! As excited as I got for her, I later pondered....where's my tiny baby??? So...from now on....there will be no more blinking for this mom!!!

Bathtime & Being Nekkid!

As you can tell from the pictures...taking a bath isn't such a big deal anymore. Now that she is able to somewhat sit up on her own and play with her toys it's a fun time now! And like I said before, she can put her feet in her mouth. I just hadn't captured it on film. Well, now it's ALL the time. Just yesterday I was changing her diaper and she started sucking her big toe through her sock!!! Usually I would have thrown up at that comment, but.....BABY FEET ARE AN EXCEPTION!!! Don't talk to me about your adult feet or even think about sending me pictures of them!
