Tooth #8

Finally!!!! She now has 4 teeth on the bottom! Jason discovered it yesterday while she was eating lunch. She smiled really big and there it was. I guess it didn't bother her much coming through because we never knew she was cutting it. Thank goodness!!! Those teeth are painful!

The pictures can speak for themselves!!!! Kadence LOVES to feed herself. We have to give her her own spoon now. She tries to get the food herself but we usually have to put the food on the spoon for her, and then she feeds herself. But she still won't hold her own bottle....go figure!! Spoiled!


This is what her hair looks like most mornings after breakfast. I thought it was hilarious because her hair blended in with the tree branches behind her! It's Ace Ventura!

Our Wedding Anniversary

Jason surprised me with a weekend getaway for just the 2 of us for our anniversary!!! Last Saturday morning his parents came over to see Kadence before they went back to Batesville. His mom walked in the door and said, "Are you packed?" Jason looks at me and tells me to pack my toothbrush and a change of clothes! He wouldn't tell me where we were going or any other information! So we kissed baby girl bye and left for who knows where!

We ended up at a cabin in Eureka Springs which was absolutely amazing!!! You can't tell just how spacious and clean it was from the pictures. It was so relaxing yet odd to not have Kadence with us! I found myself listening for her. It had been a LONG time since we have truly "exhaled" and not had to be on alert for a toddler!

I was excited to come home to see her, but definitely could have stayed a few more nights.
