Back to Work

Well....the day finally came that Jason had to go back to work. As happy as I am for him to get back to what he loves...I am really sad to see him go. The last few months have been priceless having him around everyday. Even though Kadence won't remember having her Mommy and Daddy 24/7 for two and a half months, we will never forget all the nonstop precious moments together. I know it's tearing Jason apart to have to leave, even if it is only for 24 hours. The good thing is that he has the next 48 hours at home with us! So here we are on Friday morning seeing Daddy off on his first day back. So..even though we cried after he drove away, Kadence and I had a great day together. I can't believe how fast she has grown already. I swear she does something new each day! I think I will have to be put on medication when I have to go back to work!! She hasn't quite figured out "tummy time" yet, but we still give it a try every now and then. She LOVES to spit! Not sure if she knows she's doing it, but we definitely have a drooly baby on our hands! She has started cooing tons more! It's so cute to listen to her talk. It use to be a soft sound, but now she really gets after it! She has started to pay more attention to things around her. She can focus on things that are farther away now too. She use to just lay and watch her blinking star, but now she loves looking at her rattle and duck too.
