Easter Weekend

Yes....she has discovered those little things we like to call feet! Wouldn't we all like to be limber enough to sit like that???? And yes...she can put them in her mouth!!!

Just Give Me My Bottle!

Not sure if she likes the sweetness of the bananas just yet. She likes about 1 or 2 bites of them and then she's done. She definitely HATES green beans, but LOVES squash! Cereal isn't a fuss anymore.....but the sight of her bottle brings much relief to her! You can see it in her body language and the "sigh" in her voice. I have to hide the bottle until she's finished with the cereal and/or baby food. All it takes is one look at that bottle and it's over!

Easter Bunny

We were at the mall today and guess who we ran into???? The Easter Bunny!!! It took awhile for us to get a good picture because Kadence would look at EVERYONE that passed by!! We couldn't keep her attention. Then she started playing with the Easter Bunny's fingers. And then, the Easter Bunny must have forgotten how to hold babies because little Kadence started sliding sideways and backwards. So...after sounding and looking like a fool in the middle of the mall trying to keep her attention...I'm expecting to turn around and see MANY different pictures on the photographer's computer.............THERE WERE ONLY 2 PICTURES!!!! I think this was the photographer's and the Easter Bunny's 1st day!!! But after all is said and done, Kadence never cried or got upset. She looked like she was having so much fun!

Teething???????

Not quite yet, but boy does she LOVE to suck and chew on EVERYTHING!!!! And what does that mean.......SLOBBER!!!!! She has definitely discovered that thing in her mouth, otherwise known as a tongue. If I didn't know better, I'd think she was related to Gene Simmons! So beware...if you come around, you better be wearing your rain gear!

Tummy Time

Well, it's taken awhile but she will finally play on her tummy! She still doesn't last very long before she let's out a shrill scream letting me know she wants to be turned over! But does she want to be turned on her back??? Oh no...she wants me to help her sit up like a big girl so she can play with her toys!
She's changing so much every single day! I'm SO thankful to be staying home with her! She's starting to develop her laugh now! Instead of a shout or scream she actually giggles sometimes! It's the cutest sound I've ever heard!
Bath time is still a bit tricky. If we don't time it just right, she has a fit! I think when she can sit up without help she'll like it more. Only time will tell!

Getting Bigger Everyday

She's growing so much we finally had to take out her head support from her car seat! I got a little emotional, but I made it through yet another milestone! She looks like such a big girl in her seat now!!
